Biological Manufacturing Platform

We are building a biological manufacturing platform to grow materials, not mine them.

Starting with mycelium. Expanding into the future of biomanufacturing.

From three generations of carpenters to the future of materials.

MycoFab comes from a family of carpenters in Kayseri, Turkey, where material knowledge, craft, and furniture making have been passed down across three generations.

We grew up close to wood, workshops, tools, and the realities of production. Today, we are combining this craft heritage with biology, engineering, and design to build a new generation of regenerative materials.

The Problem

The materials shaping our built environment are optimized for cost and speed, not for planetary health or human health.

Biomaterials exist, but they rarely scale. They remain artisanal, fragile, or experimental; difficult to trust, specify, and manufacture.

Our Solution

MycoFab works with mycelium, the living network behind mushrooms. By controlling growth conditions, substrates, and post processing, we create mycelium based materials that are repeatable, tunable, and ready for real world industrial use.

Why Mycelium

Mycelium grows with minimal energy, feeds on waste, and forms complex structures without toxic additives.

Our Approach

We treat mushrooms as a technology platform, not a one off biomaterial. We develop recipes, process controls, and data driven methods.

Our Vision

We envision a future where materials are grown, not extracted; where biology becomes a programmable layer of manufacturing, and biomaterials compete on performance, not just sustainability.
